Salt Shaker Set Description and Maker

This Early American Pattern Glass shaker set is made from blue, amber and clear pressed glass. The pattern is Daisy and Button Slender Pattern #82. The set includes one amber shaker, one blue shaker, and the original clear glass holder.

The set was made by Belmont Glass Works / Belmont Glass Co. of Bellaire, Ohio, in 1884.

Shaker Set Dimensions and Condition Details

Height:  3”
Widths at widest point:  1 3/8”
Condition:  The amber piece has some chips on the base.  The lid is pewter and is in very good shape and fits very well.  The blue piece has some chips out of the base but it still stands up well.  The lid doesn’t come off and appears to be original to the piece.

Height:  6”
Width:  4 1/2”
Depth:  2 1/2”
Condition:  The holder has no apparent damage.
