This original print by German artist Carl Thiemann (1881-1966) is an unframed black and white woodcut or woodblock of a town scene.
It is pencil signed in the lower right margin. There is also a stylized monogram in the lower left corner of the image. It is printed on thick fibrous handmade paper with wire lines and no watermarks. We estimate it to be circa 1930’s.

Sheet size: 7 3/4" x 7 1/8" Image size: 5 3/4" x 5 1/8" Condition: Very good too fine. There is very faint, almost imperceptible, foxing along the lower margin sheet edge and very faint foxing on the reverse.
